Coronavirus Statement 13-3-2020

CBA Update as at 17-03-2020

Dear Members,

Following the recent ‘State of Emergency’ implemented in Victoria by the State Government and updated advice from Basketball Victoria in relation to COVID-19, Casey Basketball has made the tough decision to cancel the remainder of the Summer 2019/20 season for both Junior and Senior Domestic Competitions. This will mean the final round of the regular season and finals will be abandoned. We understand many of you will be extremely disappointed, but we appreciate your continued support as we navigate through this difficult situation.

Our intention is to begin the Winter 2020 season as soon as Basketball Victoria advises that competitions and programs can recommence. As the situation is always evolving, we will continue to provide updates on our website: and via email as information becomes available.

Kind Regards,
Casey Basketball Association
