IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR BOYS AND GIRLS TRYOUTS
IMPORTANT PLEASE READ
Please read the below and scroll down to register for the tryouts!
Players are required to arrive 30 minutes before commencement of their try out session for registration.
Each player is required to bring a basketball, dark and light (or reversible) singlet and a drink bottle.
Please consider Championship Basketball is Representative Basketball, therefore commitment on behalf of the players and parents is required.
CLOSED SESSIONS
Only players, coaches and officials are allowed on the court area.
Parents are required to register their children 30 minutes before tryout time, and will be able to pick up their child once the tryout is complete. There will be no space allocated in the cafe/corridor areas for waiting.

GENERAL PARENT INFORMATION for 2019-20 VJBL season
Games are on Friday Nights throughout Melbourne.
Training is on Sunday (2 hours) and 1 day throughout the week (1 ½ hours)
Games will start at the end of October through to Christmas. They will resume at the end of January and proceed through to September. We don’t have games during school holidays or Easter.
There are 2 tournaments we take part in, Eltham/Dandenong Australia Day tournament and the South Eastern Junior Basketball Tournament on the Labour Day weekend in March.
The costs for the season are:

| Registration Fee (total cost is non-refundable) | $550 (inc GST) Registration and Fundraising Levy. | Deposit of $275 required by 27/10/18 (compulsory to hold your child’s place and is non-refundable [See refund policy])
Remainder prior to the 2nd December 2019. This covers player registration fees, VJBL registration, Sunday practices, and Administration costs only. No fundraising is required due to Fundraising Levy. |

| Full Uniform Package | $335 (inc GST) | This consists of: Reversible Playing Singlet and Shorts, Training shorts and reversible singlet, Bag, Hoodie, socks and Warm Up top. We endeavour to have everything on hand on uniform night |
PAYMENT PLANS ARE AVAILABLE IF REQUIRED AFTER THE INITIAL DEPOSIT IS MADE.
