Casey Cavaliers Youth League Coaching Announcement!
The Casey Basketball Association is proud to announce the return of Darren Best to the club! Darren has been locked in as the Head Coach for the #GYG Casey Cavaliers Youth Champ Men for the 2023 season! Darren is currently the Basketball Victoria High Performance Coach – Metro Boys as well as previously being the Casey Basketball Association Basketball Development Manager and we look forward to his return to The Fortress!
The Association is also proud to announce the re-signing of Joe Turner as Head Coach of the #GYG Casey Cavaliers Youth Champ Women for the 2023 season! Joe has had an outstanding first season in Youth Champ Women, finished the year with 16 wins, top of their conference and made it to the preliminary finals! We can’t wait to see the group go one step further in 2023!
Casey Basketball would also like to take this time to thank outgoing Youth Champ Men’s Head Coach Mark Barker who has chosen to take some time away from basketball to focus on other commitments. He has been a valued member of the club for several years and helped grow the Youth League program from strength to strength, we’ll always welcome Mark around the courts!
